- No Mineral Wool required in flute cavity above profile
- Two corrugations 9/16” height located at flute opening edges provide:
- Rigidity for “one person” or “one handed” installation (10’ lengths)
- Fire and hose stream protection
- Alignment inside and parallel to flute full length of piece
- Rigid surface for attachment of wall partitions from below
- Profile replaces continuous flat stock, 2” straps, or “center-ribbed” profiles eliminating:
- Flimsy “two person” or “draped over shoulder” handling of material
- Mineral wool and spray/caulking material requirements in fluted cavity
